Bharti Airtel has revised its prepaid plans by removing the Rs 49 entry level prepaid recharge.
The company’s prepaid packs will now start from the Rs 79 Smart Recharge. This comes after Airtel recently revised up some of its postpaid plans.
Telecom companies in India are gradually raising their tariffs as the competition has waned.
The Rs 79 prepaid pack will offer 106 outgoing minutes of usage and 200 MB data. It will have a validity of 28 days.
The revision is effective from July 29, 2021.
This change is in line with the company’s focus on offering superior connectivity solutions. Airtel customers on entry level recharges can now stay connected for longer without worrying about their account balance, it said.
