India’s largest airlines Indigo is going to start direct flight between Bhubaneswar and Patna from May 1 in an effort to strengthen regional connectivity.
The daily flight the two state capitals will leave at 10:45 pm from both the cities and will land at 12:35 am.
Far from Bhubaneswar to Patna will be Rs 3,811, while the same from Patna to Bhubaneswar will be Rs 3,580, the airlines said in a statement.
The flights are part of 22 new flights that Indigo has launched connecting key regional cities in India.
Apart from Bhubaneswar-Patna, Indigo will also operate new flights between Agartala – Aizawl under RCS scheme and exclusive flights between Jaipur-Vadodara, Chennai-Vadodara, Bengaluru-Shirdi, Patna-Kochi, and Rajahmundry-Tirupati.
The airlines will be also be commencing flights between Kolkata-Gaya, Cochin-Trivandrum, Jaipur-Surat, Chennai-Surat.
“The introduction of these new exclusive routes will further bolster the airline’s domestic network, while augmenting inter and intra-regional accessibility,” said Sanjay Kumar, Chief Strategy and Revenue Officer, IndiGo.
