Odisha has administered 1 crore vaccine doses so far in its fight against coronavirus pandemic, the government said June 21.
This comes on a day when India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage crossed 28 crore.
Odisha inoculated about 3 lakh beneficiaries on June 21, while the same for India was nearly 81 lakhs.
The vaccination drive has been ramped up through availability of more vaccines, advance visibility of vaccine availability to States and UTs for enabling better planning by them and streamlining the vaccine supply chain.
The vaccine started in the state on January 16, 2021 with healthcare workers and frontline workers.
