Odisha government has raised monthly stipend of the house surgeons in the state-run medical colleges by 40% from Rs 20,000 to Rs 28,000 per month.
Hike will be effective from January 1, 2021 and will prevail for a period of three years, a government notification said.
The expenditure to this effect shall be met from the budget provision made under appropriate Head of Account for respective medical college and hospitals.
